CHILDREN
Sleep training for kids
3 to 5 years old.
Just because you didn’t sleep train your child earlier doesn’t mean you can’t move forward with establishing good sleep habits for them now.
How it Started
You’ve been at this parenting thing for awhile now, maybe even added one or two more to the bunch. Where has the time gone?! Between family, work, household tasks, and all the things life throws at us, you look at your little one and wonder where your baby went? How are they such a big kid already?! You’ve navigated all the trials and tribulations of the infant, newborn, and toddler phases somehow, probably fueled by adrenaline, lots of coffee, and Peppa Pig.
How It’s Going
You’ve made it all the way here and you feel good about that, there’s just one thing that still literally keeps you up at night, your child. Despite all the things you’ve tried over the years, you couldn’t quite get this sleep thing figured out. And now that they’re getting older you worry you’ve waited too long and that they will just never be a good sleeper.
It’s not unusual for children in this age group to:
Resist bedtime, resulting in nightly battles.
Refuse to go to sleep unless you’re laying there, reading to them, holding their hand, singing etc.
Leave their room during the night and into the early morning, perhaps ending up in your bed or having you sleeping in theirs.
Wake up early, think 5 a.m. or even earlier and wake the entire house with them!
Have Baby. Must Sleep. We Got You!
Just because you didn’t sleep train your child earlier doesn’t mean you can’t move forward with establishing good sleep habits for them now.
When we talk about older kids and sleep training, we are talking about more than a method, but rather how to best approach and understand them during this transitional time to better, independent sleep. Let’s work together to get your big kid to love bedtime.
We have packages available to suit whatever level of support you’re looking for with all of them resulting in getting your kid back into their bed so you can crawl into yours each night with confidence that you’ll all have a restful night’s sleep.
